Nice vid by the way. I still need to watch the footage I took and see if anything is worth sending to Renz.

Sweet! I'm 3/4 of a second behind you. News at 11:00. Racing today, I won't gain -that- much but maybe a 12 something, we'll see. Rear brakes were modded yesterday so hopefully a harder launch.

nice run. sounds good, proves how important tuning is. very impressive for what is upgraded on that truck.

3" downpipe
BFG Drag Radials
Meth Injection
Custom tune
Cold Air
12" CBR Brakes
4l80e (much cheaper than the 3 700's we broke)
Auburn Posi

Thats the major stuff. The goal for this truck is all about showing people how far tuning can go. I think we had a full second on any other truck in Stock Turbo. I think it was even faster than anybody in super stock class. My wideband had died so we couldn't do any tuning at the track like I wanted.

Very expensive stuff. ;)

So is driving a Sy/Ty 10 hours to nationals, running fast and driving it 10 hours home. But some of us are more dedicated than others and we got the time slips to prove it.

Don't want to hear excuses why your truck ran slower.
Don't need a timeslipe to prove it, (unless you want to call people here liars) besides I really did not think much of running 12.29 it was not a big deal to me . Did it w/a Pitbull chip.
no, big dollar trans swap, not a cold night, no tons of alky,no alky period, & keeped it under 20 psi, not 27!!!!!
You are always trying to start something & I think it is really funny!!!

I am sorry you took my post as a slam. Didn't mean it that way. Your truck has ran good before. I was counting you in with the ones with a fast et slip. Obviously with a pitbull chip you have done a nice job "ghetto engineering a tune" to run a 12.29. But I am getting really tired of you hi-jacking any post about my truck.

Fact 1 truck ran a 12.27 at nats. 75+ degree weather, & KCIR is at 800' . plus it was threatning rain all weekend so I am sure the barometer was down. That being said if I had let the truck cool way down (I was hot lapping it, having fun) and did a big boost launch it would have ran 12.15 or so. Also all they have in KC is 91 octane down from 93 around my home. I won't even go into the fact that my wideband took a crap either.

Fact 2 you ran your time at pomona which runs 26' downhill!!! And is at around 250' uncorrected altitude. Been their, raced their, it was a performance advantage of about .07 in my race car.

Fact 3 I have ran a 12.15 @ 110. In fact I did it three times that day at two diffrent tracks. I have 20+ time slips faster than your best of 12.29. BTW how many times did you run a 12.29? Was it a fluke?

Fact 4 I run 23-24 psi of boost. Not 27 psi.

Fact 5 The tranny swap cost less than $1000 for me. Less than one 700r4 rebuild. When you do things the right way and you do alot of it yourself, it doesn't cost that much. I would be afraid also to drive to nats with a 700R4 and run 10+ times at the track and give countless rides like I have done the past 2 years.

Fact 6 I use alky injection. A controlled method of reducing knock at high timing and high boost. You mix up a known cancer causing agent ,xyelene, and pour it in to your tank. Diffrent methods same result.

Fact 7 Tooky Cat has already ran in 11's with his stock motor, stock tranny, & stock converter. Though it did break his 700R4 shortly thereafter .

See ya in the 11's.

This you Hank? Still pimpin that low 12 thing? Its all about your talk, even after all these years. Funny how you always show up on the boards, but never pimp your game at the nats or any other SyTy event. Years back I drove around this country running my truck at different tracks, never saw you at any of them. Still resting on that 12.29 you supposedly ran, what 6 years ago?? Wow that is some hang time...
There wasnt must credibility given to your claims back then, nor is there now. How about running your truck and posting the vid?

Now, Now ,play nice. Keep it in the PM's if you have problems with someone. This thread is about Jeremys run at NATS. Not taking sides, but I hate it when people try and stir up issues with people on on-going threads and they get locked and everyone misses out on the reason the thread get started in the first place.

I have seem alot of this lately. Lets just all get along and learn from each other how we can all better our trucks through sharing information like this board is set up for.

I wish you both and everyone luck with their trucks with get them where they want to be. Now, back to the thread.
