Posting this for a friend.

The truck is a white/white 93 Ty. It is a very stock, clean truck. Around 60,000 miles if memory serves.

I'll be going through this truck to ensure all is well before someone buys it.

Pics are located here ,

Only mods I can see are the wheels, BOV, and blanket for the turbo.

He is asking 16,500 canadian for the truck.

If anyone has any questions or would like pics of specific things e-mail or PM me and I'll try and get back to you asap.

Wasn't that one e-bay a few weeks ago? Looks like a nice clean piece.

Yep, didn't hit the reserve though. It is a nice clean truck for the money.

Re: Ty for sale in Edmonton AB

I spent some time going over this Ty on the weekend for any potenial buyers.

Changed the plugs and checked the compression 140 on all cylinders, nice and even.

Cleaned the injectors and had a good look at all the vacuum lines, etc.

Put the truck up on the hoist and inspected, etc. All the bushings in the chassis have been changed to poly/urethane, the front propshaft and idler arm look brand new. Obviously changed recently, very recently.

It also has very recent KYB gas adjust shocks on all four corners.

I could not find one spot of rust under or on this truck. I doubt it has ever seen snow or much rain ofr that matter. I have to say it is one of the cleanest trucks I have ever been under, that's saying something. This truck drives nice and tight and feels the way a Ty should.

About the only thing I could find wrong was the typical rear window squeak, ran out of time to fix that, hopefully get back to it this week sometime.

If someone is looking for a really super clean low mileage Ty this is really worth a look.

Dont mean to hijack the thread, but how do you fix that window squeak?

Depends on what's causing it. Sometimes the bushing is worn around the pin in the window, sometimes adjustment, etc.

Basicly you have to mess with them till they stop :D

VERY proud owner of an immaculate ride...this is comparable to my dads ty which is even more clean than mine....
i do have one question for you tony..im not sure if it was doing this before but its running negative boost all the time and im wondering if its a vacum hose or something along those lines
Cant wait for the spring time so i can start dropping money into that truck to make it a legitimate 12 second ride :D

Congrats on the purchase.

The truck never had a problem building boost while I drove it. Sounds like you have some sort of large boost leak. Check your BOV and the hoses and clamps between the turbo, intercooler and throttle body.

btw i changed the thermostat to a 160 as the intercooler wasnt kicking in with the low temp so it should be running better
