Are TY Leafsprings the same as a s15, or Jimmy 4x4 Belltech has listings for s15, and Jimmys I think but no TY or SY.

was pretty sure ty springs are 2" drop compared to reg. 4x4

Yes they are the same. A Typhoon is just a pimped out S15 Jimmy 2dr.

Make sure you always select 1991-1994 GMC S15 Jimmy 4x4 2dr

here is the Bell Tech application chart.

- The rear suspension is all the same for all applications of 1st gen S-series...
- the front has 2 different setups. 2wd spindles or 4x4/AWD torsion bars.

I got my Bell Tech 3" lowered leaf springs from Summit Racing. They are $89/each and cost an extra $7 for shipping each cause they are HEAVY.

Right now i have 1" lowering blocks in the rear do i need the 3" or the 2" drop springs to keep the stance the same as with 1" blocks?

Uhhh... if you take out your 1" block and add a 3" spring, you will lower the truck another 2 inches.

There is only one size spring. 3"

This is not true actually. The stock springs are dropped over a regular s10 (I think they just removed a leaf) ... the 3" lowering springs are only going to lower the truck 1" ... I have 2" drop flexaforms on my truck, and it barely dropped 1/2" in the rear

That said, you need a 3" drop spring to equal the 1" blocks

Sorry Sorry... im was getting confused. youa re right. I have two Jimmys and two Typhoons here... gets confusing after awhile! lol

Its hard to kjeep em all straight sometimes... lol

Well the problem I have is the lowest small spring is broke on pas side so I need some new ones. Thanks though.
