Electric Fan .... size and flow ?! ---

I was going to get a Volvo fan but they arent readily available right now.

Should I just look for a 16" x 4" fan with around 3000cfm flow?! I know I will have to custom mount it, and wire it to be on when the key is on, THANKS ---

I have an electric fan. If you don't need it, the stock clutch fan/shroud works just fine. In fact it probably has better cooling then most of the electric fans.

I ran an 02 Stratus fan in mine. It fits perfectly in the radiator. I hacked up my upper and lower shroud to keep the radiator mounted. The fan cost me $10 at the JY and looked brand new, which is more than I can say for the rest of the car it came out of. It keeps temps right where they should be.

can you guys give me some more info on this Volvo fan. years, models, ect? are those dimensions correct...24x17x3.5??? that sounds like exactly what i need for my Blazer. it will fit the core perfect, and might even clear the water pump :woot:
