New Guy From Ga.

Looking for a cheap Sy
Hi all, I'm new to the forum. I've been lurking for about a month as a guest and decided to register. I don't know much about SyTy's but I have a 1986 El Camino I'm restoring and dropping a 350 N/A into this summer.I'm "86Conquista" on Elcaminocentral.com for those of you who may be members there. I'm kinda broke right now but would like to buy a Syclone that could use some help in a year or two. I'd actually prefer one with a blown engine or tranny, even minor crash damage as long as it is mostly all there.

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I can't find anything, so here goes: What exactly was done to SyTy's to be converted from SGT's when they left the factory?I know they had special pistons, turbo, IC, AWD, and all that, but does anyone have In-depth Info?

Welcome to the group. Like Mike said (a lot of Mike's in GA), be sure and check out the GAST site - www.georgiasyty.com and keep us up to date on your plans of buying a SyTy. We have 2-3 meets a year and you're more than welcome to attend any/all of them. Shoot me a PM if you wanna get more info on the group.
