Since you guys have the chance now to go through and make a number of changes to the engine, what will you be doing differently? What lessons have you guys learned that will apply to the "little guy" out there?

I noticed in one of the other pictures, there was something in the port that didn't look like it belonged and then you mentioned the blow off valve, did you finally figure out what happened. After six years I suppose it doesn't owe you anything.

Its nothing in the enginecombo that caused the "china syndrome". The combo I´m running is the combo I will still use, I recon Im not fully got the power to the ground yet so Im not gona change annything.
Im still trying to get the chassie to work and the trans to hold on, if this succeeds U gona have some good runs with better 8 sec pass to watch on video

The object u can see in the port is a part of the blowoff valve and one other minor "chip" vent down in #1 cylinder and started to glow.... kabooom... The rest U´d saw in the pics.

Why such a small turbo? There's a whole truck-bed in the back, plenty of room...

When Robert does get the power to the ground, that is going to be an amazing take-off from the line. Can't wait to see that vid!

I don't really understand what you're saying here, but after closer inspection of the picture robert posted I see he's running a GT4780.

Just mean, Robert allready have used the turbo´s for 2 years, thats on advertising as new produkt for -07 season.

Im not sure what # hes running though, Ive been working alot lately and have´nt seen the new turbo by my own eye´s yet..

Ok guys, the weekend has passed and Roberts Sy has the engine in and RUNNING

Sweet sound of a newborne engine, do´nt count Bad Ass Truck out of fast times yet..

Robert can't possibly have a wife or kids! it would have taken me months to get the truck running again.

He has one of each actually. He just never sleeps and runs around himself like he is boosted and on race gas (aka mcdonalds cheeseburger or pizza)

Latest updates, we where out this evening for some road tests and WOHOOOO that truck realy haul´s ass now, it was fast before but robert did check his nrs and said "its umbalivebly the truck is faster now than ever on low boost and on the road" U can tell Robert was happy when returning home to the garage..
