Yea....So no real updates lately. We've been working on the brake lines. Got the majority of the rear brake lines mounted last sunday and the proportioning valve mounted up front as well as messed with some brake lines up front. It should be complete this weekend and I'll snap some pictures for ya guys. Other than that, still waiting on body work.

Good news is that my dad and I finally know what we are gonna do with the bed floor so we will be starting that shortly.

In the mean time, I thought I'd share with you guys a photoshop pic I created for a powerpoint slide in a school project that was recently completed. It is sort of my concept picture I suppose. I started with a pic I took awhile ago, then added the new wheels, lowered it, and added a backround. It is more or less what the truck should look like when complete. Paint will just be different.

Here's what I started with:

Here's what I came up with:

Don't knock me too hard now...this my first photoshop attempt :D

Haha...oh, they will have some dish to em..don't worry. I just used that rear wheel because it was the best angle I could find. They look like they only have about 3-4 inches of lip or so. Mine should have about 7-8 inches of lip

Some shots of the brake lines...

Driver side of the truck. Ran steel braided off the old line up to the diff. After the splitter, we have hardline running across the housing then braided steel running off of that to the brake.

Passenger side

Here's the proportioning valve.(yes it is dirty, it will be cleaned before going back together)

Re: LS1-Sonoma GT build (updated with pics)

I am curious to see how the back wheels look on the truck. I run 12" rears with no lip and they barely fit correctly. Sweet though :) ---

The rear end is narrowed so it wont be a problem.

They should tuck in just like stock

Thnks for the compliments guys

those wheels are HOT!

are they custom made?

Yessir. The model is Astra made by iForged. The front wheels are just a typical offset, but the rears are a totally custom one off wheel. As a result, they were very inexpensive  (Sarcasm)
