Might want to take a peak at brake pad prices before you decide to go that route at 419.62 per set and very low life span I sold mine GM part number 19153019

Re: 2008 Zo6 Brakes

I am in the process of doing the c6 z06 brakes. I am working on the rear end right now. I have a 8.5 rear end I am moding the brakes on. I just bought the kore3 bracket today just to see if it would fit, but I don't think it will fit. It should be here wedsday. I dont see a problem with the front brakes, should be a breeze. I am running the C6 zo6 wheels as well. I really don't see the c5 wheels working with out spacers. Let us know what you find out. I will do the same... Bryan

Any updates?

A local ty owner wants to get this setup for his truck, Just doing some legwork for him.

He's a body guy, no interest in pulling wrenches, but I need stuff painted now and again,

I should have everything installed tomarrow. My setup maybe different, being that I am useing a 8.5 rear end. But I used a KORE3 bracket. I was only able to bolt up two bolts and had to redrill the other two. I think I could get the e brake to work but, I didn't feel like fabing that up right now. I think I will play with that later. I'll take pics.

Re: 2008 Zo6 Brakes

I only got the rear brakes on with the 8.5 rear, coil overs and flexaform rear leafs. Brakes feel good but the rear leafs feel alittle soft. I think I will have to stiffin up my coil overs.

So what did you end up using on the rear to mount the calipers, etc?

What are the spec on you wheels, where'd you get the from?

Re: 2008 Zo6 Brakes

I used the Kore3 bracket. It was $75, I think it was the 10 bolt/12 bolt rear end bracket. I was able to bolt up two of the holes that mount to the rear axle flange, the other two I had to drill out. Other than that the bracket worked good. I also had to mill my own spacers to space out the caliper from the kore3 bracket. My wheels are c6 zo6 front wheels all the way around. 18x9.5, 40 offset. I dont have great pic's but I will try to post what I have.

you should probably start making extras, as this will probably become a desired piece

Re: 2008 Zo6 Brakes

Ok, First impressions of driveing with these brakes on. Is WOW, stoping power is great. But I think there is alot more rotating mass. I can feel the difference in my stock motor's ability to accellerate. It's not bad at all but noticeable. I don't know if I can say its the brakes that are weighing me down because I just did, coil overs, rebushed sus, shorted 8.5 rear end (witch is off about .25 and is a drag) my alignment and these brakes. Alot done in a small amount of time. I'll add pics tomarrow. When they shorted the rear end they cut the rear end axel tube and welded it crooked, witch makes my rear end toe in about 1/4 inch on the right side. The truck does not pull to the side or anything but it is crooked. I have to take it back to the shop that shorted it. So there maybe other issues that are holding me back.

Oh, I just wanted to thank CBR for making a great kit. It went on like a glove.

I am not shure, I think it's around the $2500 (brakes and brackets). Wheels and tires $2000. Thanks
