Im at the dealer today picking up a gasket and figured Id pick up a can of Top Engine cleaner.

Guy comes back and tells me that GM discontiuned the aerosol can and plopped down a little plastic bottle of green liquid in front of me saying thats what they replaced it with. Apparently, this new stuff you just pour in the tank. At least, thats what we both assumed since it didnt even give any sort of direction on the labels. The bottle had a built in measuring cup as well.

WTF?

The crap in the aerosol can ruled. Crack open the throttle blades and you could watch it turn your upper intake from a dirt hole to a shiney new aluminum piece while the truck belched out smoke and killed any bugs in the remote area.

Anyone used this new stuff yet?

I bought some about a year ago. No aerosol, just an aluminium can. I used it same as the old stuff...through the intake. Best temporary mosquito fogger on the planet.

Yep, had the choice of in the can and suck it in through a vac line or the aerosol and spray it into the throttle body.

I dunno about this new stuff. Guy behind the counter really didnt have much to say about it either, he mentioned he would rather have the old stuff in the aerosol too. It was about $14, I didnt take it with.
