who fixes or sells cladding

I live in maryland. I have a couple pieces of cladding that are cracked and mounting tabs broke off at the cladding. They need to be fixed or replaced. any info would help.

Smaug used to fix cladding, but I think he's been too busy lately to do much with it.

You could check with B&M Industries for OEM cladding. There's a few pieces Here at Sportmachines.com or there's Fiberglass cladding as an option, but I can't find the link at the moment. :tup:

i really don't have the time to fix pieces anymore, plus the time involved doesn't really make it worth the $

I hear ya about time. I finally got all my equipment together for my 3D scanner to digitize cladding pieces for reproduction. Now I just don't have the time to scan them, lol.

Eric, you have any broken pieces you're wanting to part with?

what parts do you need?

i have a buddy that fixed a few parts for me in a jiffy, and it's legit!!!!

if you want to bring them/ship them up i am sure he would repair it for a good price.

in fact, he did mine in minutes with this weird ass acid/powder concoction. it is amazing.

if you have the tabs, and any other pieces that are broken, just be sure to include them.

FYI, I hear there's a cladding repair video in the works for the DIY'rs. Not sure if you were interested in fixing it yourself but just wanted to let you know that option may be possible.

i actually ended up fixing a few pieces myself also. i will post up the product i used, because it is amazing! (see my earlier post)

Just go to a good body shop supply / Get the 2 part epoxy , stuff is amazing, really short work time, so don't mix alot of it.

the stuff i used is a powder, like gunpowder. you sprinkle it on the location of the damage, and then put some drips of the weird glue stuff (tiny bottle)

it is dried and solid in ~ 60 seconds. it is INSANE. :tup:
