Re: marine intake injector size
well, grab a cup of coffee and let me tell you a story
i'll try to make this short. the guy wanted to turbo his 4.3l and make alittle power. well that turned into hey lets shoot for 500-550whp. so we took out the motor and bought some eagle H-beam rods, forged blower sbc pistons (forgot name but they were recommended here on syty.net), and a comp cam. backed it all up with new bearings and rings. sent the block to shop where it got bored, honed new cam bearing installed, and cleaned up. then the rotating assy was balanced. while it was apart we sent the heads off and got them cleaned with new seals, 5 angle valve job, and port/polish. we new we needed better source of fueling so we got a new marine intake with all the stock trimings for $199.00 off ebay. so, we took all the parts and slowly with book in hand put it all together. also decided to get new plugs/wire/rotor bug/cap. wired up new injectors i tore the old intake apart so i could see what wires went where (i'm an electrician by trade) oh forgot he also got a new oil pump, water pump, and timing set while it was out. clutch and fly wheel are stock for now. he's looking into doing a LT1 T56 swap. should be easy enough its 5spd now.
so when turbo goes on we are useing a set of syty manifolds nodded to hold a t4 flange and he'll be runing a master power t70 turbo. at 15psi the 4.3l sits in the heart of the turbo map. intercooler is already installed lol. and there will be plenty off meth to go around not to mention semien 60 injectors for fuel. and a nice walbro pump to send fuel. can't think of anything i'm missing at the moment. i would like to dig more into that pcm swap for 2/3bar map also.
if i can get it to run right it will be a great fun build. hope i didn't leave anything out.
