Re: Sound Deadening Material I used about 2 rolls of deadner, and maybe 2 or 3 yards of the foam. I doubled up the deadner in some of the larger flat areas. So it was probably about $500 (cad) when I did it, after shipping, glue (stick on foam wasn't available) roughly.

Re: Typhoon sub enclosure, post up pictures of your setup! Fiberglassed rear to utilize as much room as possible. This box was tricky to fit the 2 deep 8's and the long ports. The amps are mounted on the passenger side. This is in the g/f's blazer.

Re: question, sanding down powdercoated wheels. If they were done right the powder should have good adhesion and shouldn't chip. Over time it could be a starting point for corrosion, but it doesn't sound like it sees bad weather. Depending on how they were prepped they could/should have been...

Re: LED Headlight experiment I'll still take my hid retro over those leds anytime. Better width, distance, cutoff, high beam and twice the output. I'm sure they are better than the stock sealed units, as pretty well anything is better than those.
