Re: More Gauges
Some folks have mounted them in custom pods. Quick search found these threads:
replacing the radio speaker in the dash - one, two
insert covers cupholder in center console - one, two
Re: new owner in nc
Welcome from northeast NC. Check out the NC based GMTurbo6 yahoo group - lots of Buick and SyTy owners there. I think they're planning a meet at Jordan Lake this coming weekend.

Re: disaponted times
double check the basics ala http://powertuneplus.com/. Assuming your motor is running right and the tune is good, the power must be going somewhere - slipping though the trans?
Re: racing stripes?
Funny, I thought the exact same thing about the white lettering. I read about the Grand Sport inspired paint scheme... painting the "GMC" grille letters to match the red hash marks might look good too. ShuggsRR- that new paint looks incredible!

245/50/16s (stock syty size) measure 25.6" tall and run 811 revolutions per mile
275/45/18s you're interested in are 27.7" tall and run...
Re: One last shot... Breaking up!
Nice work slogn. Might have been interesting to see what the injectors flowed right off the truck without cleaning. Good luck to boostedsuv. What a nightmare... you've got more patience and persistence than most folks.
Re: Carbon Fiber Hoods
$775 sound cheap for a carbon fiber hood after reading this article:
http://www.autoblog.com/2009/09/11/shelby-lowering-price-of-20k-gt500kr-hood-after-web-outrage-eru/
Shelby has been charging $18,400 for replacement GT500KR carbon fiber hoods. You read that right -...
