Re: Changes for 2011 Odd that it melted the side rather than the thinner center. Injector spray pattern or swirl in the cylinders I guess. How did you mount up your wastegate piping to your turbo adapter? Cut a hole and braze it on? Cant quite tell from the pictures.

Re: Timing questions If you are in denver then 12inhg isn't that far off from where you should be. Vacuum specs are usually determined from sea level.

Re: Gas in my oil If it is blowing smoke still I would check the turbo to be sure the seals are good. This won't help your fuel problem but it is definately a system of smoke. If it is infact the rings did you use a glaze buster to ruff up the cyliders? What rings did you use?
