DO you still need help ,If so 1 go to gm and buy new pins and bushing 2 suport rear of door on jack and foam or other soft mat. 3 take good sized screwdriver and pop out spring if it is the top hinge 4 drive out pin with round punch ( helps if you take a drill and make a small hole in end punch)...

Sounds like may have plugged ext. if you can get O2 sensor out see if it will run then with all the spark plugs in.

I think its the one with grey paint next to it.

There are 4 ways the light will light, ebrake ground, hydraulic system (not abs) related,abs should turn on light for 2 or 3 seconds as a system check, if light stays on the abs may have a problem, tan/white wire #33 from abs . I hope this helps. you may have to pull abs codes to find out what...

Is the engine missing the first few seconds, if so coolant/water is getting into the cylinders. by the way in most cases,white =water,blue=oil,black=to much fuel,tan on hard acc=carbon

Take a look at drive axle boots and see if there torn open.

Speedo is not that hard to change, is it digital or analog. you should first check that it is the speedo and not the vs sensor at the transfer case or the wiring and all the fuses are good. If you need any further info email me and we can talk about it. -Scott

If the smoke is black its to much fuel, blue smoke on 4.3 on startup is valve seals most of the time. Check fuel pressure, how much and doe's it bleed off right away on shut off?

The ball us there so that under heavy load A/C, heater won't switch to defroster outlets, from say dash or floor. Has nothing to do with vac for engine controls.

I would say that what v6kompressor said would be the first place to look, wiring at back of engine or down by starter.

Did you install the engine or a shop, other than the engine r&r what else was apart?
