Is it possible to run our in engines in the truck without a transmission in place, as long as the starter is connected?

I just installed and greased my power performance ball joints and the bolts are contacting the rubber boot, has anyone else installed these yet? I was thinking of taking the bolts out and cutting them down?

I bought new hubs from Napa forgetting to also buy the seal that goes in the spindle, so I went down to Autozone and they said there is no seal that goes on the spindle with the new hub, is this true?

I used the heads and manifold together for about 2500 miles, has a port and valve job done on them, stock valve size used, heads worked great, here are pics before i threw them on the truck and after i took them off, no cracks just need to be cleaned up, comes with comp conical valve springs...

Sat the 7th around 2:30pm I was heading up the 57fwy north when a clean looking syclone on some probably 18's flew by heading south on the fwy heading south, just makes me with my truck was complete, but im almost there.....:)
