Re: Aftermarket ECMs Thanx. I called them and the lady said that they could not tune a car as old as a '93. Unfortunate, because they are only a few miles away from me.She gave me a number of someone in Arizona, but that is a bit far away.

Say does anyone know any mechanics in the SoCal area who are good at tuning the Accel aftermarket computers for the SyTys ? It seems that Accel no longer makes or supports them.

Does anybody know if any wiring harnesses for a '93 Ty might be available anywhere ? Had a fire years ago and some wirng got fried. Plus I probably also need an add'l harness for an Accel aftermarket computer. I don't think Accel supports them anymore.

I need a new dipstick. If our dipstick is a standard 4.3 L tube, that should be available at a junkyard, or perhaps from GM. But it has a real curve to it, maybe because of a different exhaust manifold, so I'm wondering if it is different for the 4.3 L turbo engine. I can't even check the oil...

I've had some damage to my wiring harness. I kinda doubt that I could get one from GM. Does anyone know if any are available or where I might check ?

Re: Accel ECM ? OK thanks alot - VERY helpful. I have copied both the Gen 6 & 7 manuals. Now how do I know which one I have ? I don't see anything on the mounted box. Maybe if I pull it out it shows somewhere ?
