I contacted the seller and had a buddy in Montreal check it out. This same dealer was selling a revinned Ty last year(87 Blazer VIN) Anyway, here is the Sy

Here is what Peter found out so far:

Truck has a salvage title and was in some sorta mix-up concerning serial #'s.
Guy sent me the CARFAX report, but the serial # blunder he told me voluntarily.
Lemme know if you're still interested in the truck and I'll fax you the CARFAX.

The dealer has sent me a couple of hostile emails, and then said he would take 10K Canadian for it...
Does anyone have some history on this truck?

Hey Cam,
I emailed him asking for the vin #.
He emailed me back saying he would provide the vin when I provided a bank draft for the truck.
I responded by telling him that I required the vin for a carfax, and to verify that it was indeed a Syclone.
He responded with:
The vin does not matter, because it is just a Chevy Sonoma, does it not look like a Syclone?
And then he got pissy when I reminded him about the Fake Ty they sold last year....looked like a Ty...but not. After sitting on their lot for 2 years they sold it as a Typhoon "clone" He got really cranky when my buddy Peter took a look...had someone drive it off the lot before he could inspect it.
I believe that is misrepresentation. I am sure their are people that would be happy to have a Sy/Ty, regardless of it's current vin, or title history.
Not me.
