Re: 50s & Ultimate with multiple chips. I am new to this stuff... My Sy is currently Code 59 with WB input and I don't even want to try to figure it out for fear of grenading it. What would I need to do to convert to this set-up? Thanx Buzz PS: your inbox is full

1st: My Sy is making a clacking noise like the axle is bad on the right front when making left hand turns but I just had it replaced and noise is still there. 2nd: No front drive... Any well educated guesses as to what it/they is/are and recommendations for the cure? Thanx Buzz

Re: Anyone driving through NW Ala.?, Syclone spotted I believe the one that sold in Harvest was Jimmy's (local guy), Clay may know more details about it though. My daughter and her husband live in Florence and they havent said anything about another Syclone to me yet.

Re: Ratchety noise from Passenger side front. If it's the outer joint of the axle that would have won your bet! The wheel bearing was fine.

Methinks I have a bad/going bad axle... During left hand cornering, mostly with the throttle applied I get some feedback and a ratcheting noise. Opinions?

Re: "1993" Syclone Limestone County, AL There was one sold here about 3 weeks ago for about $8k by a guy named Jimmy. It may be that same Sy. He flew out west somewhere and drove it back about 6 months ago.

Re: Syclone Suspension ??'s Do you have PN info? I have the ride height about where I want it now. As for the stiffening of the suspension...it really needs it, moreso in the front. The shocks are fairly new, less than 10k miles on them but they are way tooooo soft for me. Do you have more...

Re: Syclone Suspension ??'s Thanx Clay! I did a search prior to my ?? post, searched and found pics of the front with C/O's, the rear pics I saw looked to have modified/relocated mounting points. I would like to see C/O's with the stock leaf springs. More than anything though is what length...

I am wanting to add some coilovers to cure some of the front tire wear and boatlike ride on my Syclone. I need to know what length and diameter shock/coilover will fit on all 4 corners and does anyone have pics of their coilover set-up? Thanx Buzz

Re: 4l60e rpms jumping up and down. More info-- Any time you get rpm jump you should check out the ignition system. I have seen a few with the same issues (mine included) and it was either the plugs, plug wires or the distributor---all easy fixes that don't require a bunch of guess work or money.
