Thanks for the info. There is a place 2 miles from the shop. Cant they chuck the caps up also or bolt then to the rim? I have the wheels at the burner right now and I will glass bead them when I get them back. If they cant give me a good result I am going to re powder coat them a lighter...
I am a machinist myself and I have a lathe big enough to turn them but they are not flat and that makes it a problem on a manual lathe. Are you sure they cut material? Who did it for you? Thanks for the help.I have them dismounted and I am going to take them to the burner tommorrow.
I powdercoated my wheels and I dont like them. I did them too dark. I have a guy that wants them but wants them back to stock. I can burn off the powder or strip them but how do I get that machine cut finish back so I can clear coat them?
I have only had the Syclone for 2 weeks.I plan on lowering the rear soon. I am also going to step up to some ZO6 whhels soon so the wheels and tires will be for sale.
