I have my front bumper off. Are the rivets available? I need to straighten the "bumper" and it will be a lot easier if I remove the cladding, but I'm concerned about obtaining replacement rivets.

This is Dorman's exact replacement for a 94 cherokee. They wont help because it's off lablel. For some reason there is about an eighth inch radial gap in the coupling at the top of the shaft. It's not in either u-joint, and the u-joints are securely clamped to the splined shafts at the top...

Just to be sure, This shaft is an almost new Dorman 425-284. Installed by a shop who didn't really want to be involved. It appears to have a rubber boot at the very bottom. I assume that would be access to the outside of the slip joint. I've read that there are nylon pins or some plastic...

How hard is it to move steering box down a little? I need less than an inch clearance to remove a steering shaft. Else I need to somehow collapse the shaft.

I decided to re-do the job myself. How do you get to the steering box (lower u-joint) to remove the shaft? I can barely see the box let alone get a wrench down there.

I had a local shop replace my Syclone shaft with a new 94 Jeep shaft. Steering wheel has about an inch of free play if I hold the middle of the shaft. Any ideas?

I think I need to replace the tie rod ends, idler arm, and pittman arm on my Syclone (85000 miles). I can find replacement parts priced from about $8 to $50 each, resulting in a total difference of about $250. What would you do? Thanks, Dave

My Syclone #? has broken cladding at the right rear corner. I would like to try to weld it. Besides a crack, there is a missing piece about 3 in sq. So I need a filler piece. Anyone have some junk I could buy? Also, I need to remove some cladding to paint the truck, but I've heard the...
