    I picked up the painted cab yesterday from Richard's. Still waiting on motor from Kevin's machine. Had to buy a new crank, and that was much cheaper than turning the old one. I will try to take the hood and fenders over to Richard's some time soon so they can work on them.

    My post disappeared, but no, you do not use the white wire. Look at my very first post in this thread. The coil just plugs back onto the stock connectors.

    The stock coil wires just plug back into the coil. The power comes from the bulkhead connector.

    The Holley harness plugs into the stock distributor. It does not attach to the coil. I did not use the white wire at all. In fact, I think that Tyson fried his Holley by using the white wire.

    Yesterday, I did the body work on the hood and sanded all the spray paint off. That was a real pain in the ass and took about 3 hours with an 80 grit DA. PO had laid it on pretty thick. The hood came off of the $150 parts truck. I also painted most of the front part of the frame.

    I did a write up somewhere about modifying the wiring harness. The tach signal comes off the coil using the stock wire going to the cluster harness.

    Yesterday, while waiting to pick Denym up to do soil borings, I went ahead and 2k primed the fenders. Now for more blocking. Last night, I filled in the low spots on the driver door that I got from Hollis junkyard and blocked everything with 80 grit. Ready for 2K.

    92 typhoon long start crank time

    Have you checked the fuel pump relay? I had a bad one and the long start was caused by the fuel pump only working when sufficient oil pressure was reached, thus triggering the fuel pump. You can swap the A/C relay over to see if that makes a difference.
