Re: 96 Vortec motor Effectively? Everyone talks about it but I don't see anyone that actually did it. Seems like it would be decent with good head design but balance shaft nedds to go and cam need to be changed. High compression = severe timing change and high octane ?

Sick of searching. Any issue running a stock 96 Vortec in place of stock syty engine? I can tune to fix boost etc. I just don't want to get stuck with a can of worms.
