i believe the mechanism the lock attaches to is fastened pretty tightly to your dash. I would just buy a new glovebox door before doing any of this. And get the typhoon emblem off intact cuz im not sure if you can ever find an OEM typhoon emblem.. Step 2, get a screwdriver and rip the opening...
