107 here tomorrow thru tues. w/a heat index of around 115. People actually like this stuff. WTF is wrong w/u people!? :roll:

it was 90 out here in the bar area. Truck drove super smooth..even got a thumbs up by an old white guy.

The thermo in the Tahoe said 122 this afternoon... That's probably an easy 130-135 on the wet bulb globe thermometer.

Been 105-110 here the last few weeks. I got to put my shortblock back in the one Syclone this month. If I am lucky will find a night when its only 90!! People go to the track in this heat here ane can't understand why I don't. Lets see, its 90 or above for 9 months of the year. Best two months, Dec or Jan when its cold out the track is closed. Leaves a whole month of 60-70 degree weather to make any passes.
Can't wait to live in a moderate climate again and drive my trucks a bit.

Yeah we're dealing with 110+ here in Phoenix, so the garage is pretty warm. In prep for bringing the truck back out of storage, I went out and bought a big mobile swamp cooler. It really helps take the edge off. Even with the higher humidity, it still works rather well. I just aim it towards me and I've been able to work for hours in the garage when it's 105-110 outside.
