Someone who loses is a loser.... I have never watched the super bowl and heard the announcer say "well the packers won the super bowl and even though the cowboys didnt win they still arent losers...." I lost to a VW there for I am a loser. A far greater loser then losing to a civic imo.

Well I was a big loser cause I lost to a new lightning, trust me I was upset that I lost to that pickup, (but then again I still had the manifold cracked and had my friend in the copilot seat who weights at least 200lbs, spare tire in the back and my front tires were worn) but thats still no excuse and that was my first time in the game. Also those new lightnings are so easy to mod, pulleys, kn filter and chip and thats low 13's or lower. When I said loser I meant someone who lost, not a nerd herter or someone who is an asshole. The kid I ran in the stang was nice about losing, he asked what I had in the truck, just told him awd turbo v6.

It wasn't a serious race, it was a little deal at a stoplight. My Sy has a filter and that's it. It runs great, due to my keeping tuned and healthy. I ran a 13.89@95 at Bandimere in April, that's my best time in the truck. I don't plan to mod the truck outrageously because it's not worth the added unreliability and problems to me. I deal with that with my mustang.

Your truck is not tuned right cause if it ran a 13.89@95 , healthy Sy's should run 13.5 easily or lower, #2 when racing you always build boost and at a stoplight none the less. My truck is probally running at 13.8 in the condition it is in with the cracked exhaust manifold.

I'm at 5800ft altitude, the times are about right. I didn't have time to build boost against the Lightning, basically I pulled up to the light, he asked if I wanted to race, I said sure and started to brake boost, and the light turned. I was still in vaccuum when I took off. I should have clarified what happened before. I have beaten a different Lightning in a race where I could get a decent launch, just not that particular race.
