I must have the millie migilia rims on that orange/silver syclone.. Ive seen them on a ty once before.. Id kill for them in 17"x9.5" in the front and 17"x11" in the rear..

only problem, my budget isn't that high.

The attention to detail on the red ty was amazing. He was kinda miffed that he didn't think about the dripping water but it was great for cooling.

The Ty also had "porsche brakes". Looked amazing.

OMG :eek: !!! Those rims look AWSOME!!! Do you have a complete picture of this truck? Any more info on the rims? What method they used to make them look like that? Anyone knows how much would it cost a job like that? thanx!

Dunno we were going to fast. That truck is balls fast. We pulled up to a viper @ 80mph dumped the BOV in his window 3 times then blasted off.

The S3 tried to keep up for a little while...

My hand hurts from holding the grab handle.

Not clone.

Different philosophy though...very different. Maybe not in a good way but he sure did clean work and had massive amounts of personal time vested in the truck.

Those are some nice pics. Looking at those, makes me want to paint my Syclone. I am not sure why though. I think a dark metallic blue with dark grey cladding would be nice.......hmmmmm. anyone have a few grand they can donate to me?

@All - Let me answer some questions:

I just had lunch with Roland (owner of the low gray Ty), who is visiting me right now (SyTyMeeting --> Airport ---> Tyguy - LOL).
Hello to Ryan btw. Roland told me, you were scared from his driving as well as from the performance of a STOCK turbo truck.
@Ryan...I thought this handle is called "Scream-Handle" - LOL

I have to admit, with Roland's confirmation, that Roland's truck is technically my idea of fine-tuning an almost technical stock truck.
He is running STG 3-BAR, AFPR, ATR cold-air, fine tuned exhaust and just tweaked to my ideas. Don't dump too much money in, take your time and you'll have a great truck - even reliable.

Regarding right hight and cladding trouble... No trouble at all, the truck runs on Rancho 9000's IMO the best choice and never hit the cladding as long as you run them in setting 5 in the front.

Louvers, these are ORIGINAL Range Rover louvers, sacrificed from a totaled 03 Range...

Man that sucks i cant find those RH rims anywhere (the one's on the red ty). Anybody happen to know of a good site to find them on.

ps- did you use that good smelling wax sh*t on your cladding yet?

Looks like they were powder coated to me. Powder coating is baked on resulting in a very tough finish that will not peel off like paint can. In order for the rims to be prepared correctly, they have to be bead blasted so that the coating can get maximun adhesion. I just bought a set of stock rims so that I could have a set of rims exactly like the ones in the pic (black with red GMC). I intend to get drag radials mounted on them and they will be my strip/no mercy street wheels. Price to have it done is a couple hundred. Fortunately, I have a friend who is a foreman at a shop that does powder coating so, a bud and I are getting ours done for free 8) .

Nope, im a lazy piece. I'll probably wash and wax it when i get it back from Patrick he's putting in the tc....weeee low 8's here i come (1/8).

a lot easier than painting the whole thing...the wheels would be seperated and the lip would be polished while the center section would be painted...I'd imagine

I was thinking, maybe bead blasting the wheel like mentioned before, and then polishing the lip and masking it off, and then powdering the wheel black?!?! :dunno: Just a thought
