463 has arrived

And it was cold as hell and windy, but dry fortunately. When I bough my original in early '92 I recall the weather being the same. Glad to be back in a SY. Climbing into it brought back a lot of memories of when I bought #2678 off the showroom floor in the Pittsburgh area. As a lot of you original guys will remember, the prices were being dropped because the were still sitting on showroom floors in early 1992. Autoweek had an advertisement at Annette Ganassi (Chip's sister) GMC of a price drop to $18,999 and I made the move, trading my GN. A week later several dealers dropped them to $16,999 which was around $9000 off sticker if I recall. Anyways, here's a couple pics.

Congrats on getting back in the saddle. I could imagine the the way I'd feel after being an original owner to finally getting back into one after all those years.

I only recently heard about this from my engine builder who also got a good deal on one new. I thought he told me he paid around 14K for it?

Nice ride and good luck with it.

Re: 463 has arrived

Thanks guys. I got rid of the first one in 1995 for another GN for no real reason other than I thought that's what I wanted at the time. Regretted. I did buy a low mile one again in 2001 that was in great shape. Around 20k miles on it I think. It just wasn't good timing with my little one being a couple years old. I'm glad I was able to get back into a low mile example finally.
