I don't want to sound like a d!ck, but you didn't mention an adjustable fuel pressure reg in your post. And the stock one isn't adjustable. So don't beat your brains out.
If you have an AFPR the base fp according to the manual has it between 38-43psi with the vacuum hose DISCONNECTED. Some people may have said 45 to play it safe with boost.
If you are running an Ultimate Chip, then the base fp should be set around 50psi with the vacuum line disconnected

pull off the vacume line, loosen the locknut on the adjustable regulator, and turn the screw while you watch the pressure guage. within 2 pounds shouldn't be a problem. see where it runs best on your datamaster. pressure depends on what your injectors are and also how big your turbo is. good thing to remember is always do it the same. if you're gonna leave the vacume line on, do it that way all the time. if you're gonna pull the line off, do it that way all the time. otherwise you will get different reading from different ways. proper way is to pull it off, but the other way works well too. one thing to watch for is how much the pressure changes when the boost comes on. if it drops could be your pump is gettin old or your pressure is off

good luck
