Which Alky kit are you guna run?? If its the Alkycontrol kit, you can mount the Tank on the Drivers side if you don't have ABS.
That would of been my location but I still have the abs. Nice engine bay tho:tup:Here's what I am doing.... I don't like the alky tank on the passenger side fender well because it places the tank outlet forward - acceleration forces liquid away from the pickup! Placing it on the driver's side forces liquid into the pickup. This isn't completely dialed in, but you can see where I'm headed with it.

Hey wyosyclone,
Ive been reading this thread on your cold air intake heat shield! fantastic work making it up and fabing it for the engine bay. You do really great work! Ive been wanting to buy the rpm CAI as well as it seems to be the only CAI common to these trucks that i can find on most sites. The thing is I cant justify it unless I made a heat shield like you have. With saying that, are keen on spreading your knowledge on the measurements for the heat shield? I would really like to make one myself, just need a little guidance in doing so.
Thanks for your time!
Greg
