Just to be clear...
Methanol IS an alcohol. It's the -OH group on the carbon that makes it an alcohol.
Ethanol, the stuff that makes beer fun, is also an alcohol.
Methanol has one carbon atom, ethanol has two carbon atoms. There are many alcohols.
Ethanol is what people commonly refer to as alcohol but it's a misnomer. You definitely want methanol for your truck but it is still an alcohol.

Yellow bottles of heat works well. It boils really easy so keep it away from heat in the engine bay.
