I am geting one built out of stainless steel for David's (MyTyphoon93), and I was wondering if any of you guys would be interested in them? I'll let you guys know how much it will cost me to get the 1st one built. There might also be an aluminum version available for you 'light weight' guys... I won't have pics until tuesday, 0r so. Damn huricane!

ROFL.... ahhh... sorry, but your on your own on that one... The builder only has access to aluminum and stainless steel..... I'm trying to build something low priced, carbon fiber would probably cost over 200 bucks....

I am interested if it will fit the DeQuick CCHE and not attach to the cooler.

The NWSTP design was the best out there and no one is currently making a "scoop" that is more than a plate bolted to the bottom lip of the CCHE.

I might have a set of plans for all the correct bends and measurements if you need them.

Well I was going to build a plate version, considering that would be a whole lot cheaper, and would work just as well... i'll see what else we can do....

If there is serious interest, I can make CF scoops like the one Ive had on my truck for very long time now, it was a prototype and worked out well.

I just installed a RPM a2a, so this one is going to robert.

Im also working on fabricating a RPM a2a scoop as well... CF of course.

Please dont ask me about price at the moment...I have no idea, I'll start a new post if there is enough interest in here with some details.

please note, this thing was on my truck for a long time...its seen some heavy road use and a few low dipping curbs and speed bumps, so it looks abused :)

That's a nice looking scoop. I like how low profile it is. It reminds me of the one I used to make.

That one in CF is basically the same as stock no ???

I like that one but would rather one more like a scoop such as the aluminum one posted above.

Worse case I'm interested in a stock one made from CF
But if someone has templates of a scoop version or a good design or something I can use I'd get it molded out of CF on my own if its too much $$$ for others.

its a stock style yes, but bigger, so it hangs lower...its about 5.5" that hangs below the IC

as far as a box style, yes I can make that too out of CF like the ones pictured above..

only thing... it will definately change the price once i sit and do some costs on materials and labor.

Ian has a box style made from aluminum that was templated off my old alum scoop. I would use his to template for the CF.

Ians truck is the left one:
