I just spoke to John at carlifts.ca and they will drop 7.5% off of the top for 3 orders.
The lifts are 30 days away right now.
Castors, drip pans and drip tarp are another $400 and a bridge jack is $650 with the purchase of a lift.
King=$2195 pre-discount
Fortress XL=$2495 pre-discount
Pickup in Calgary.
Email me at gordongullon/at/gmail/dot/com if anyone else wants one.

I will be pulling the trigger on one in the next few days if anyone else wants one.
Gord.

A family friend of mine is a rep for a lift manufacturer. Lemme see if I can get anything going for people who need one.

Mine came with the castors when I purchased it used. Buy the castors. You may think you will never need to move it again after initial installation, but you will. Damn near impossible without the castors.

Of course, you have to then store the castors. Which are big, heavy, and take up a lot of space. Can't win.

Good advice. I had thought about not bothering with the castors, but your point is valid. Hmm.

I had pondered on upgrading my two post with a newer model ....anyone have any hookups in that field?

Looking to pull the trigger shortly on two or three. Was leaning towards bendpak. Backyard buddy looks well built, but are 4600. There looks to be some junk out there.

Gord,

I purchased a 4 post from www.directlift.ca after doing a bunch of research on the different suppliers out there.

To say I'm pleased would be a huge understatement, this thing is nice. After looking at all the other hoists in person it was an easy choice, much higher quality with the direct lift.

They are shipped out of Ontario, very easy, no muss no fuss at all.

We can talk more about it friday but I would look no further.

Check the website, they have a few 2 post hoists. If you are looking, they will give you the same discount that the rest of us are getting.
