Anyone use this BOV??

I found this BOV looking for a certain sound on you tube. It seems like this could be a good one.

Here is this vid I found on it and it seems like this could be an important detail that shouldn't be over looked (when they talk about compressor surge ).

I didn't know that that sound (surge) was the the pressure spinning the wheel the other way. I am giving serious thought to buying this one. What do you guys think?

Sounds good...A LOT better then the dying horse sound our trucks make with out a bov! My latest and greatest truck has the hks bov system and sounds sweet......nothing violent or too loud either!

I do like the sound in the video you posted from youtube....a good synopsis of both styles of bov's. I wish I would of put a bov on my old Ty.......the v8tt had a bov, but I couldn't here it over the motor/turbos.......I will for sure be keeping the bov system on my Sy.

I love the Tial 50mm Bov. nothing fancy nothing fruity sounding just opens to do its thing to release the pressure.

after looking at the one you put up in the e-bay link, I typed in blow off valve and saw over 1700 different ones out there. Price range is crazy, so my question would be what's the major difference from one at 50 dollars to one at 350+ dollars. ?

i had the TurboXS RFL, puppy was load, can tell why they called it the Really F*cking Load bov

that snychro does sound nice, with running my 63e turbo that "dying horse" sound is much more prominent compared to the stock turbo

I guess I am over the whole what does it sound like aspect. My main point was that it seemed like this BOV takes more in to account what it should work like instead of sound like. I currently run the RFL, it is loud and I do like it but I am more than likely about to toss the pipe it sits on and thought about a different BOV. I like the chutter sound but after watching that video and seeing how responsive it was and that it functioned better than others, made me kind of want to try it out.

I like the chutter sound but after watching that video and seeing how responsive it was

My vac line came off of the bottom of the hks bov valve and all I heard was that annoying shutter(dying horse) sound until I got her home and tossed a zip tie on the line! When you come down for the hood I'll let you drive my truck.....you'll want a bov after driving it!

I have a BOV. I can guarantee mine is louder than yours :lol: So we're on for the hood deal then?
