ATR aux IC

It's not a jimmy!!!!
My Ty came with the ATR aux IC set-up which consists of 5/8" hose routing through most of the system. After changing the plugs, I decided to change all the hosing to 3/4" hose. I have run in to the problem of the shur-flo pump having female 1/2" NPT to 5/8" hose barb connectors and I cannot for the life of me find replacements with a 3/4" hose barb. I contacted shur-flo and they sent me some plastic connectors that have VERY small inlets and do not appear practical. I guess this leads me to two questions:

1) does anyone know where I can find replacements; or
2) Am I worrying too much. Will the 5/8" connectors not be a significant restriction in the flow of the system. Just shut up and connect the 3/4" hose to it.

Thanks

Re: ATR aux IC

I ran a ShurFlo witht he 5/8" connectors and 3/4" lines for awhile with no ill effects.
I didnt measure the system flow or pressure or event he IC water temp, but it flowed good enough to satisfy me.

Honestly, once I started spraying alky I got rid of the ATR aux, and now have went A/A.
I am sick of dealing with all the lines/coolant/pumps/wiring etc a w/a has to offer.

Have you been talking to a friend of mine?? He is always telling me to go A2A!! ;) All in good time I say. I need more $$$ and time!!! :) First tranny cooler and datamaster then A2A. I certainly am sick of dealing with all the lines. Did you clamp the 3/4 directly on the 5/8 connector. There was no leakage with that?
