Not to scale
Alright, Its nearing the end of the season, and I have some questions about tires.
Now, I have been running bfgoodrich G-force tires, which keep me in my class. I was thinking of saying to hell with classes, and changing to a g-force slick, or a hoosier slick. I was also thinking of going to a smaller tire, rather than running a 245-50-16 maybe something like a 275-35-15. I believe that their is alot to gain on a track running a shorter tire, accel, braking, steering responce, lower to the ground, everything. Now, for a set of tires like that its about a grand, and as far as rims are go, I really don't care how they look, but I have no idea the backspacing that would be needed, or if its possible to even fit a tire like that on the front. I would like to figure out if a shorter/wider tire like that could clear the cladding, as I would not like to hurt that if possible.
