I took my truck to some oil pit to get the oil changed....and they tried to con me into getting a lube job for the bushings too. I told the little kid that my truck dont have grease zerks and are unlubable, then he tried to argue with me about it. So I walk out there and show and show him, then he retraces he steps and tells me they poke holes in the bushings and lube them that way....

Long story short, I took my truck somewhere else.

Anyone else ever had a shop try and lube their unlubable bushings?

I've used a needle to poke through the dust boots on some newer vehicles without zerks and inject grease, I grease my ATV's suspension this way also. Below is a picture of the grease gun adapter.

Ive been under my truck three times, and I have not seen a zerk one anywhere....

At least they didn't change the Tranny Filter that is mounted on the frame instead of the engine oil filter... retards

That's uaually because they are covered with old grease & dirt making them difficult to see.

Well I don't what to tell you other than, You better look again as there are 12 of them if I recall correctly.

I thought a stock truck had 12? And they are all hard to see get to.
