Been gone awhile...what did I miss?

So, I haven't really been on this site for 5 years give or take. I do have a 6 year old daughter and 7 month old boy. What the heck is goin?

I might be getting a Typhoon next weekend, it would be my fourth truck. My friend bought it a few years ago from a other friend and he is now bored with it.

What is the deal with coil on plug stuff? Is there an easy solution? What about coil over conversion, does anyone make these anymore? Anything else been developed other than a lot of LS/4L80 swaps?

Welcome back, and congrats on the new addition

To sum up your questions quickly, coil on plug hasn't really gone anywhere. In fact until this post, I had completely forgotten that a few people were attempting to come up with something for that, I guess it never worked out :dunno:

Coil over conversions, simple, check out www.sportmachines.net or stop into their forum in the vendors section.

There haven't been many giant huge advancements, lots of little ones, such as lightweight stuff from Carbon34 and Renzfab. The Sportmachines guys are coming up with lots of innovative stuff, stock turbo improvements, 3" downpipes, suspension stuff and doing a lot of restoration and parts supplying.

The biggest thing that has happened recently is the color breakdown of Typhoons is known.
