I have a TE44 on a stock DP. might be selling it this spring if anyone is interested. It'd probably be best if used with an external on the crossover.
email if interested, and I can give details.

a 60 trim stg 5 would probably be as big as you want to go on the stock downpipe.

Waller you ever get a backpressure reading? Seems like it would be awefully high, considering the Q trim is over .5" larger then the OD of the downpipe.

just curious

ya mike I took some pressure readings on the stock dp. and I ran my 11.2 on that stock dp. backpress was about 2.5 -1. I have since made a 3" pipe and it's a little better. prob abour 1.8-1.

Jeff,
How much do you sell that 3" DP for? Also, in the attached pict, it appears as though where the DP meets the turbo, it is ovaled like the PTE style DP's. I assume you take the plug out of the lower hole on the back of the stock/20g turbo? And if so, how many bolts do you use to attach the DP to the turbo. I know on Christian Dionne's old 3" stock turbo DP, which was also oval like a PTE DP, it was still only held on by the 3 bolts. Is yours the same way? I would think that would leak out the bottom over time.

I am sure this is a dumb question but could you use a grand national 3"? mabey modify it or something? I am just looking for a cheap way. I found a few that were cheap and was curious.

You would have to buy it and see if you could use it somehow.. I think there were be cutting and welding involved.

If you know someone with a welder you can make a downpipe relatively cheap.
