hey, who has the black typhoon with pennsylvania plates that was in hackensack today. we were right near teterboro airport. i was in the silver impala going to pick up my buddies evo thats been in the shop for a while. i know you noticed me staring because you gave us a lil spool action. ill be getting a sy/ty this summer once i sell my stealth. anyway nice ty, first time i've ever seen one in person and sounded great.

yea that was me. i saw u lookin so i figured id let u hear the ty. i just recently put a 5 speed in it so i have to show off. u say ur gettin one, congrats, they are the best thing ever. i go to school right now at syntec in hackensack so if ur in the area again stop in and ask for me. my name is greg also.

i think the new guy has multiple personalities and is having a conversation with himself (lol) both are named greg and into ty's and they are both in the nj area not to mention they are both newbies !

id like to show u guys the truck, but i just broke it today. i was drivin along ang the turbo started making this horrible noise. and now i get 0 boost!! i think i blew the bearings. if anyone has dealt with this before and can help it would be appreciated. thanx greg.
im gona post this in engine tech also.

stop driving the truck now.

pieces of metal from the turbo in your engine = bad.

your gonna have to find something else to drive until your can replace that turbo.

figure out what exactly went wrong.. then fix it..

if its the turbo then get another..
if its something else, go from there..

ok so the turbo is shot, and im gettin another one, it should be fixed by next weekend. im not sure where you guys are located but if you wana get together that be cool, just let me know. im in clifton nj

well there is no better truck to drive than the ty or the sy. they are def the funniest to cruise around in. when i broke my 700r4 a second time i decided to do what i always wanted to do, throw in the 5 speed. it is pretty cost efficient also. I went with a centerforce dual plate clutch and throwout bearing. then i had a regular 4x4 transfercase regeared with the gears out of the ty trasfercase, so when im in 4x4 it is the same as the awd. but i can shift it into 2wd. that is fun as hell! so basically i love driving stick and love driving the ty. just combined the two. i know it is not as fast as the auto, but i have alot more fun driving around.

hey, its greg again. your truck looked sweet man. get that turbo fixed? def would like to meet up. i just moved to westwood nj. you know where that is. i have my stealth up for sale and am currently looking for a sy/ty to replace the stealth. 5 speed ty huh? would love to see that thing in person. shoot me an im my screen name is geg9113. there is a ty for sale on autotrader in philly that hopefully i can go look at once the stealth is sold. ha you even impressed my buddy that drives an evo(we were going to go pick it up from the body shop in hackensack when we saw u, that impala was his rental). im gonna miss driving stick a little bit when i get the sy/ty but these things are so rare i wont care too much. anyway if you are up for meeting up this week let me know, def wanna see you're truck in person.
