he he, I raced this BMW M5. I didn't know if he was going to race me so I didn't boost launch him off the line. I lost by half a car length. I was really sad but then I looked them up online. THEY ARE V10's WITH 500HP!!! They run 12.4 in the 1/4 mile!!! I could have hammered him if I did a 10 psi launch!!! Suddenly I didn't feel so bad. Not bad for a stock truck and I didn't have to pay $82,000 for it.

Eh dunno, seems to me if he is down to race he would have hit the "Mo Powah" button.

Good race BTW those new M5's seem like pretty neat cars.

dude, m5's are not slow! A buddy of my dads has one of these, took it for a little spin a couple of weeks ago. It is a 2006, sticker was in the glove box and it was $90,092! Car was SICK!!! You never know until you try it, launch on him if you get a next time.

My friends 2002-01? M5 396 HP went 14.1 @ 99 MPH @ LACR, but suposedly it had bad MAF sensors.
Much better of a top end MPH car.

LOL they are slow? 505hp is slow?

s65 wouldn't be a race at all in the 1/4...stock vs. stock a syty has no chance.

Yeah I know what you mean. I woke up on the wrong side of the bed that morning. Next time I will race some hondas to make sure I win. Oh wait I did that and lost to a 400hp+ Honda Delsol. I think I better get my walbro,ultimate, afpr and full exhaust put in.

To be truthful about the race against the M5. He started to pull pretty good on me at 60mph and only won by 1/2 a car length. I think in the 1/4 mile with a proper boost launch I could have tied him if not won unless the guy drove the wheels off that thing. It is a very impressive car. I will tell you what though. If my totally stock truck and compete with a car that runs 12.4 stock. I'm all right with that.

i know i was just throwing it out there

the S65 has a 4.5 0-60 so im just saying it would be cool to see

s65 have 680+hp :lol: trust me i work with them every day V12 TT $225,000 sticker haha
i know for a fact its faster than an M5

oh and im not saying the M5 is a slow car its just the S65 is faster haha

those s65's are awesome...i agree with you. i'd love to have one but would rather than 2 TT vettes that will both be faster for the same price, maybe 3 or 4 of them. ;)

haha true but do they have massage seats????? that push u to the left when u turn right and to the right when u turn left. yea they counter act the g-forces

I had the opportunity to line up next to an M5 at Infineon Raceway earlier this year. He ran 12.83@113mph, which is respectable, but I guess I was expecting more. E55s run low 12s stock, so I guess I wasn't all that impressed. I made sure he saw nothing but Sy taillights all the way down the track :cool: Here's a video of the race: http://www.v-blok.com/11.95@112.wmv and there was a bone stock SL65 TT there as well running 12.4s...here's that video: http://www.v-blok.com/SL65_V12_BiTurbo.wmv. There's a Mom in an E55 wagon that runs 12.7s at that track too...pretty cool.
