I recently bought a new break booster line, before I replace it is there anything special I need to do or can I just take off the old one and put in the new line?

Nope nothing special... Just replace the brake line. It just a hose that operates off of engine vacuum. Just make sure you have the check valve installed and that it works while you're at it.
