Brodix Heads - Priced to sell!

Since I sold my Syclone, no need for these to be sitting around. Just recently purchased from another SYTY member. These heads are MINT! Priced to sell and sell quick! If you don't like my price, PM me with a reasonable offer.

Lil Brodie ALUMINUM Heads, Ported and rebuilt with all new parts by Lingenfelter Performance.

Only used at the track before the recent rebuild.

Angle Plugs
68cc chambers
New 2.05” intake high temp SS Valves
New 1.60” Exhaust high temp SS valves
New Comp Cams Beehive Hydraulic valve springs
RA50 deck finish for Cometic MLS Gaskets
These will also fit a stock intake. These heads are one of the best setups for a built hydraulic cam motor. The Beehive springs are advertised as:
"Street/Strip.- Increased Valve Train stability and lighter. Best possible choice for street/strip. More aggressive for strip and retains durability for the street. Originally designed for LS1, LS2, LS6."
This is not a set like people normally buy on Ebay from the circle track guys. These have been gone through, updated, and ported ... with new parts that we need for our turbo motors. You can go to around 300 cfm on the porting, but its really not warranted unless you are going with a solid roller cam setup. This is setup for 422 or similar hydraulic cam setup. A stock intake welded up for vortecs will fit this intake with a 1203 gasket. These are a great street/strip aluminum head setup. Without the cost of the rockers and valve covers these heads are not much more than a new set of built vortecs and more than a grand less than a new Brodix set.

Re: Brodix Heads - Priced to sell!

Dumb question... but what is needed for these to bolt on? vortec Modified lower, got that, but what else.
Thanks

Re: Brodix Heads - Priced to sell!

I believe a stock lower intake bolts up to these Brodix heads, not a modded one for the 1996 & newer Vortec heads.

Are these the same degree heads as the vortecs? Can't tell in the description. Will factory manifolds bolt on?

Re: Brodix Heads - Priced to sell!

They are standard 23* heads.
The intake will bolt on but stock exhaust manifolds will not work with angle plugs.

You will need custom headers for these to work if you didnt, they sell in minutes. nice pieces.

Re: Brodix Heads - Priced to sell!

Thanks for the replies.

They're 23 degree heads with angle plugs, so you'll need headers.

Lower vortec in take and upper plenum will work fine.

I promise you, you will not find a better set of heads for your truck this price, expect to pay probably 4 grand. RPM sells a set for 3,700 without being worked.

Someone snatch these up!

Has anyone ever ran these heads with custom headers from Mike, keeping the turbo in the stock location? If so, how much do they run...

Mike sells these heads, just not ported, etc... So I would guess they got something that will work... Like I said earlier, the price for his heads are $3,700... These are easily worth $4,000...

Good buy here folks, I no longer have Syclone #411... Need to move these heads..

Yes,and they are quite expensive and you must run solid motor mounts.
