Next time I am down at Bandimere I will verify the elevation throughout the 1/4 mile with my GPS just for giggles.

I kinda remember hearing through the grapevine that the end of the track is actually like 2 inches higher than the starting line due to the recent resurfacing they did after the 330'.

On an loosely related note it was one of the few tracks in the country that weighed in on the 1000' finish line for the fuel cars because the shut down area is actually longer than the track itself by a good bit and up hill to boot. It's considered to be one of the safest shut down areas on the NHRA circuit.

Don't forget we're up here at 6000'. And altitude DOES make a difference on turbo cars.

Nice run John, thing sounds sick as hell.

Nice Job. I am sure it feels great to put up some good numbers after dealing with all crap from the evenfire cam.

 Not trying to step into some 4 year old shit here but.... I was taught to run what ya brung and hope that it was enough... If you wanna chase that car why not just run a category like Super Gas where everyone runs the same exact ET and now we use a stupid electronic box to operate the throttle for us so we can get as close to that number as possible... We're not comparing Apples to Oranges here... Both Syclone trucks... Both V6 powerplants... and as far as I know both still AWD... after that cut the bullshit and may the fastest truck take home the bragging and bitches!!! :2cents:

Not trying to start that battle again either, my questions was out of curiosity.

And admit the track looked to be in a downhill way on the vid..

If U ever come over to Sweden U will find the tracks over here to be a bumpy ride, most of the tracks are terrible, untill now, there has been 2 "new" airstipps realesed for some race´s a couple of times a year (talkin 3 - 5 ocations) they are nice and leveled (as in the slowmo vid from Robert) the last one is like the track we where at in Germany, a airplane strip with regular airfreight traffik on, so they are not alowed to prepp the track, the plane´s skidds out on gras in rain if trackprepp is presens :(

Cool Anders!!! ;)

It's too bad that we are land locked here because this has got to be one of the finest drag strips I've ever been to and I've been to a lot of them. Its an optical illusion from both ends of the track too as the staging lanes are downhill to the starting line...

Worst track EVER is Kearney Nebraska.... only race track I know of where you can race in the middle of a corn field AND loose every filling in your teeth!!! SUPER bumpy there! You guys down in Pueblo have to cross the traps, lay on the brakes throw out the laundry and drag your feet to stop in time!!!!

Re: Bully at Colorado track day

So both trucks are using 160#'s ? Robert and Bully ?

Do either of you two know at what point 120#'s become maxed out ? Thank you .
