Calgary or Alberta trucks want to meet?

Hopefully before August 6, as I am getting married on the 7th and heading to europe afterwards for a few weeks. So I guess anytime very late august or after works too.

Let me know.

That would be kinda weird. Buy a sy/ty and don't meet anybody in Calgary, but go on a honeymoon and meet somebody several thousand miles away that has one.

We will be planning a meet in Edmonton. When are you back from Europe? My guess is we'll plan for late Aug or early Sept.......

I think I've been the only Syclone forum member in Calgary for years and years. Haven't been on the board since the beginning of July. I'm up for a meet, just let me know when/where once you are back in town!

Yes I must see your truck. I just drooled over the dyno vid and read through the topic about it... I'm free on most days (during the day), however I work graveyard shift and currently have monday and tuesdays nights off. In a couple weeks I am going to thurs/fri nights off if that works better, if you're more inclined to meet up in the evening.

I have a white 93 Ty I just bought. Currently doing the tuneup and fluid changes, replacing IC hoses, etc, etc. It should be running right soon and I'd love to meet up in Calgary.

I work during the day so Thu/Fri nights work for me. Just got a can of C16 so I'm hoping to step up the tune before I park it for the year. Let me know which week you switch over and we'll set up a meet location.

Sweet! If it stll has the IC hard pipes then it sounds like a fairly unmolested truck. Does Thusday nights work for you?

Not this week coming up, the week after... 23rd or 24th is good for me, either night, if you wanted we could meet up friday day a little later on and cruise by the Tim Horton's for fun? ( not that it's my scene, just to roll through, somewhere to go at one point...)

e/ I'd love to head to Race City that night if you're in? I'd be interested to see that unit go down the 1/4 even if it's calgary's less than admirable track.

if you're not interested in that just let me know where is a decent meet location for you, and maybe a time you'd like to meet, i'm very flexible as I do not sleep at night ;P

The 23rd is probably best. I've been meaning to head down to the the track for a while now, I just don't have the money to fix anything if it breaks! I'm in the inner NW, how about somewhere along 16th?

Greg you in?

Re: Calgary sytys

Tempting... But I keep taking things apart instead of putting them back together. Started with the IC hoses/pipes. Then took the IC off to look underneath. Then decided to take the IC pump/rad off. Next I'm going to replace the IC pump with a new shurflo. With all this stuff off decided to replace all the Vac hoses. With a drain pan of coolant from the intercooler sitting on the floor I decided to drain the rad coolant while the pan is down there all wet. Might as well replace the thermostat while I'm at it. Of course the bench also has new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, 2 PCV valves, and so on - should put all those on while things are apart!

So, the 23rd may be pushing it given I'm working on this for an hour here and there. Definitely want to meet though!

We should just meet at your garage - I love getting a look a disassembled truck. What do you say?
