I know my truck is kinda ghetto but it has 195K and really wanted to post up my new A2A set up.
ROOM!!

This was the worst, I had to have two odd pieces welded together because they wouldnt stop blowing off. Surprisingly, there was alost plenty of room, thought it was going to be worse.

More ROOM!! :lol:

And the sweetest view in the world...

I just love the way that looks. I get all excited when I pull up to a store and see the reflection. Anyway, thats it, I know it couldve been cleaner but maybe someday Ill get around to all those details.

:ebay: and other places. I pieced everything together. Got the IC from Just Intercoolers with the piping kit. I tossed the clamps and couplers it came with cause they were crap and bought most of my couplers from Silicone Intakes.COM. Got all new Tbolt clamps from whistler bearing and had my welding done locally. It took me about a week and a half to get everything done.

And so the question is,,,,, does it feel faster, pings less? Or have you had time to check it?
Having an intercooler sorta blocking airflow to the water radiator, does the engine run any hotter?

where did you get the rubber adapter for the piping to the intake? and what size piping did you use?

I used 3" tubing. I have no extra lag compared to the stock set up. Or so it seems. Its amazing because after running 18psi on an 85* day then pulling over, the inlet is HOT and the outlet is COOL. Its pretty sweet. As far as temps go, I have done some runs and temps dont really get over 110* 120*. This is all on an 85-90* day and like I said at 18ish psi. KR is a 3-5* but thats about what it was before the IC. Engine temps do go up, I used to hover at 170* on a hot day and now Im at a steady 180*. After beating on it it will go up to almost 210* and does take a while to come back down. But, performance wise I CAN feel a difference. It feels as fast on a hot day as it did before on a cool night, if that makes any sense.
