I know this thread is old but I just wanted to add that the Harbor Freight hand riveter I bought works like a champ with plastic rivets. I redid my front bumper without any issues.

It is "Pittsburgh brand and PN 38353.

Lowes has them.....that's what I used to put my cladding back on my Ty.....they even had them in grey to match the paint.
