I'll give the guy a call and see what the story is. Depending where in Kissimmee he is, its about 45 minutes or so away from me.

Just spoke with the guy. He's owned the truck for about 15 years now. Used to live in Jersey, then took the truck to Puerto Rico, then back here to FL. He said he's just pieced it together from everywhere he can find parts. Junkyards, for sale ads, etc. He's at the point now where he's just over putting money into it and time to move on.
I wont be able to go see it until next weekend, so I'll give him a call by the end of the week and see whats up. My guess, it'll still be available. :roll:

A dunno about the story. I know of 2 Syclones that were in the junk yards, one here in Winnipeg from a football player who came up here to play from the south. His was wrecked and nobody touched the cladding. Then there was another one wrecked in Winger Mn, that was there for a few years and the box,doors and other tin was sold, but the cladding wasn't a high dollar ticket like today.Cladding is worth more now than 15 years ago.

There's 2 Typhoons sitting in a junkyard in Plant City, FL. Back in 98, my buddy's Typhoon ended up in a local yard after he got t-boned. Truck was stripped in the yard and then crushed.
BTW, his phone number is a PR number. There are quite a few trucks down there too.
As far as the theory of it being a reVINd Ty.... if that is the case, someone went through a bunch of trouble to put on the old school column shifter. It also has the 91 steering wheel. All the vac lines are scattered in the engine bay. You guys gotta realize, back 15 years ago these trucks went for big money $20k+ for nice ones. Back then, it actually was cheaper to build a clone rather than drop the money on a real one. The roles are reversed now with trucks being cheap to get and the parts being expensive due to demand.
I have no reason to believe this is a reVIN real truck. It's most likely a true clone.
