i decided to buy the yellow sy from new jersey. needs some work to make perfect but i am really stuck on the paint. my options are paint it black, keep it yellow or try a different color. i am really not a fan of the yellow. i havnt purchased it yet i am still debating what i want to do.

if you guys say keep it yellow i might just pass it up.

I've been very impressed with the non-black Sy's that I've seen. The yellow definately wouldn't be my first choice, but Bob Romano's silver Syclone and the blue Syclone (can't remember the owner) both look great. Also, the few that were repainted red (whether they did or did not involve a cigarette company) are beautiful. Good luck one way or another.

Got any pics of it? Is this the one with the painted mural/graphics on the tailgate?

I've been wondering this myself. I actually don't care for the look of the red sy's, although the cool factor is through the roof, the color still doesn't do it for me. The yellow, green, and blue that I've seen I didn't care for either, but Bob's Silver Syclone blows me away.

I'm torn, I really like looking pretty stock, and while your average joe doesn't know what a Syclone is, I do like when car guys know what it is, and I think changing colors might take away from that. I know another local guy that runs 11's and we're going to hit the drags a few times this summer, park next to each other and do a few runs and it should make a good showing, can't help but think that wouldn't be nearly as cool if I painted my truck another color, but it is kind of wierd showing up with a cool truck....that's just like that other cool truck beside it.

Not much help am I?

You can't go wrong with black, it just looks mean. But I'm also a fan of blue, red, and gray.

Of the factory colors, I only like the solid colors in Black and White. I think a solid grey or silver would look nice though. Its probably going to be easier to sell with black unless you a buyer that loves the color.

thanks for the help guys, so yellow is definitly out and i will get the truck painted asap. i was thinking of like a sandstone grey....if i cant make up my mind soon it will just be black then

so you bought the yellow sy could you post that it is sold in the for sale section i have been awaiting a reply for about a month. but its my thouhgt that every vechile thats not gonna go off roading should be black its the sexy.

the coolest looking syclone pics i have seen in my opinion was that custom blue with the silver cladding...... i like how the color makes it so much more custom than everyone else..... id say change from yellow but go with an original color and dark silver cladding.....

Yeah, Sy-1177's truck color or like what (I think this is him) Falco's truck looks like, both of those trucks are just to drool for. :tup:
