I'm just testing the waters here . I'm not sure if I want to sell yet but wanted to see if there was someone willing to take over my project. I recently injured my neck ,nothing serious, but it will keep me from working on it this winter and I would hate to let it sit.
I've got a 1949 cab sitting on a long bed s-10 4x4 frame with the engine ,trans,transfercase,front and rear diffs. from a 1993 typhoon that had 103500 miles. the cab is currently not mounted to the frame I was going to use the kit from http://www.e-zchassisswaps.com/ witch has all parts needed for the swap, cab,bed,bumper,master cyl booster,brake and gas pedals ,steering column mounts and steering shaft extension.(I do not have this kit yet I was joing to buy it just before I was injured) I also have the typhoons seats, carpet,door panels, upper and lower consols, headliner, steering column, brake and gas pedels,engine harness and ecu, dash harness and gauge cluster, I wanted to make a syclone-ish interior . I also have over a $1000 in new crome grille and front bumper, door handles, head light bezzels and a new weather strip kit, from brotherstrucks.com
O.K now for what it needs: all 4 cab corners (inner and outter) rockers and pass door bottom and the panel where the pass door lower hinge bolts to the cab , floor is solid.
it needs a bed and running boards ,rear bumper, taillights, headlight bulbs , fuel pump/sender, s-10 or syclone chassis harness, and probally alot of little things to complete. At this point it is a basket case but it has the potential to be a nice truck or even a cool rat rod
I've got about $ 4000 in buying back the typhoon from the insurance co. the s-10 chassis and the '49 and the new parts I would like to get as much of my money back as I can .
p.m me if interested, and please no low ball offers I havent been able to work that much and the bills are stacking up. witch may force me to sell.
